Boulder Flycasters ,the Boulder Valley YMCA, and Colorado Division of Wildlife  are proud to announce a Rivers Conservation and Fly-fishing Youth Day, Saturday, March 7th from 2 to 5PM at the YMCA Arapahoe Center.  (click here for a map to the Arapahoe Center)

Activities for the day will include:

Fly-fishing Equipment & Rigging your Gear

Fly Tying

Fish Species & Rivers Conservation

Water Quality & Entomology: Trout Insects

Fly Casting

Where to go? Local fishing destinations

Each of the stations will be divided into 30 minute clinics and participants will move through the clinics  in a circuit.  Representatives from Boulder Flycasters, the Boulder Valley YMCA and Colorado Division of Wildlife will be on hand to provide expert instruction and fun!  Hourly door prizes and skills awards will be presented throughout the day for youth participants.

This should be Colorado’s largest youth fly-fishing event of the year so bring your family for an afternoon of fun and information.
